Energy Savings

For most people the attraction of saving energy is saving money. It is where the initial investment of purchasing quality insulation has a long term monetary return for the building owner and occupier. By installing our KORE products you will ensure that your building is as thermally efficient as it can possible be.

Think about this, 1kg of EPS in use in a building saves at least 400 litres of oil over 50 years. Typically a building insulated with KORE has many thousands of kg of EPS, equalling thousands of litres of oil saved.

Consistent Performance

The insulation properties of KORE EPS remain constant over the lifetime of the building. The delivered thermal conductivity is the final thermal conductivity as it does not diminish over time. This consistent performance is essential for maximising energy efficiency.

Inherent KORE EPS Benefits

EPS has an excellent insulation to weight ratio. EPS is light, durable, rigid, easy to handle and cut to shape. EPS represents no dangers to health in installation and use. EPS is extremely safe as it is non-toxic and totally inert. It is moisture resistent and therefore the product does not provide a food source for mold growth.

Quality Installation

KORE has a wide number if fully trained installers for the KORE ICF and KORE Fill products. Our installers work closely with the client to ensure installation quality is first class.

Sustainable Products

KORE EPS is kind to the environement as no CFCs or HCFC's are used during the manufacturing process. In use, it conserves fossil fuels and prevents carbon dioxide emissions. KORE EPS is recyclable and may be recycled in many ways. Airpacks Ltd is actively involved in the recycling of all of our EPS products.

Reduce Carbon Footprint

Upon evaluation of the environmental impact of manufacturing various different insulation products, studies have shown that EPS has the least impact on the environment. The embodies energy of EPS is recovered many times over by the energy saved in the building in which it is installed. EPS is so lightweight, considerable fule is saved during the transportation when compared with other building products.

Certification and Quality

All of the KORE Insulation products are Irish Agrement Board Approved. This means that our products have been independently assessed and fully recognised by the main governing body in the industry. Irish Agrement Approval shows that our insulation products comply with Building Regulations.

All KORE products are manufactured in accordance with IS EN 13163:2001-Factory made products of expanded polystyrene specification for boards manufactured from expanded polystyrene. KORE products are tested to the highest standards using the latest in-house laboratory technology facilities available ensuring full compliance with European EN Standards.

Multiple Applications

KORE Insulation can be used in a number of different building applications; basements, retaining walls, frost protection, perimeter insulation, external walls, floors and roofs. KORE products are suitable for use in both new and existing buildings.

Thermal Mass

All applications of KORE Insulation products promote thermal mass. The thermal mass of the concrete wall helps to even out the highs and lows of temperature differentials as the walls and floors heat up and cool down.
