KORE PIPE INSULATION- Prevent Pipes from Freezing

KORE are now supplying pipe lagging from Tubolit. Our Pipe Insulation is twice the thickness of the pipe insulation currently available on the market. Our product offers a durable, economical solution to reduce heat loss from pipes and prevent pipes from freezing during the winter months.

The Thermal Conductivity of KORE Pipe Insulation is 0.035W/mK at 0°C and 0.039W/mK at 40°C. When it comes to thermal performance we won't be beaten. KORE Pipe Insulation saves energy on hot and cold water plumbing. By insulating the pipes, they will not freeze in the cold weather but it will also help to minimises water heating costs.

So how does this dual purpose pipe insulation work? Firstly, when warm water flows through the pipes the insulation prevents the water losing heat and hence the system is more efficient. And secondly, when an attic is insulated at ceiling level, its temperature is reduced as most of the heat that previously was lost into the attic space is now retained in the house. This can cause uninsulated pipes to freeze causing damage to the water pipes. A Super Insulated pipe will not have this problem. KORE Pipe Insulation is suitable for use both inside and outside.
