HOME ENERGY SAVING SCHEMEThe Home Energy Savings (HES) Scheme provides assistance to homeowners who are interested in improving the energy efficency of their home in order to reduce energy use and costs and greenhouse gas emissions. This is a national scheme and it is open to all owners of existing homes built before 2006. The scheme is administered by Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) and relevant agents of SEI. Homes built after 2006 were built with a very high standard of insulation and heating controls, and therefore upgrading these measures is not necessary.
The scheme is now open to Homeowner Applications. For your convenience applications forms are available here for download. To apply on line visit www.sei.ie today.
