KORE PIPE INSULATION

KORE are now supplying pipe lagging from Tubolit. The Pipe Insulation product offers a durable, economical solution to reduce heat loss from pipes and prevent pipes from freezing during the winter months.

KORE Pipe Insulation saves energy on hot and cold plumbing. By insulating the pipes they will not freeze in the cold weather and will help to minimises heating costs associated with heating water. When warm water flows through the pipes the insulation prevents the water losing heat. Where an attic is insulated at ceiling level, its temperature is reduced as most of the heat that previously was lost into the attic space is now retained in the house. This can cause uninsulated pipes to freeze causing damage to the water pipes. An insulated pipe will not have this problem. The Tubolit pipe insulation is a high quality CFC and HCFC free, silver grey, flexible closed cell polyethylene pipe insulation.
